1: NO PRIOR BUSINESS DEGREE IS REQUIRED
If you don't have an undergraduate business degree, the good news is that you don't need one in order to be eligible for admission. Many qualified MBA applicants have backgrounds in engineering, science, or other non-business disciplines. If you have a technical background, you can benefit from an MBA because it allows you to round out your knowledge and skills to increase your value to your current or future employer.
2: FLEXIBLE IN-PERSON AND ONLINE PROGRAM OPTIONS
Whether you choose the Evening or Online program option, you'll have access to Virginia Tech's top-rated faculty. The Evening MBA is offered in person, and part-time or full-time enrollment options are available. It will take approximately two to five years to complete the program, depending on your chosen enrollment option. As a full-time Evening MBA student, you can even benefit from a graduate assistantship which will allow you to have your tuition and fees covered if you work for the MBA program office. An alternative to the in-person program is the part-time online program which takes 22 months to complete.
3: BUILD MEANINGFUL PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Throughout the part-time Online MBA, you build professional relationships that last a lifetime. Attending the program allows you to work with diverse classmates from various backgrounds and industries. Your peers provide friendship, understanding, and support and can also connect you to exciting professional opportunities.
