Create Your PID (Personal ID)

Your official acceptance letter from the Graduate School will include your VT student ID number. Using this 9-digit number (that begins with the number 9) you will create your VT Username.   Things to keep in mind when setting up your VT Username:

• Creating your VT Username requires you to select a character string that is easy for you to remember.

• Your VT Username will be a login credential and also used in your Virginia Tech e-mail address (VT Username@vt.edu).

• Your VT Username will stay with you throughout your time as a student here at Virginia Tech.

• Evening MBA faculty and staff will use your newly created @vt.edu email address for all communication.

• Your VT Username is also used to access Hokie SPA, Canvas (Learning Management System), the university's libraries and other important student resources.

• VT Usernames cannot be changed.  Choose carefully.

 Create your VT Username here. 

You will need to enter your First and Last Name as entered in your application.  Your major = Business Administration.  

Your new VT email account is accessible via the Exchange, preferably via Outlook on the Web, at https://outlook.office.com/. Log in with your VT Username and password.
