Schedule and Location

Virginia Tech’s 24-month Online MBA program welcomes a new cohort each May. The program is fully online, with 50% synchronous instruction and 50% asynchronous instruction, allowing you to earn a high-quality MBA on a fast track without leaving the workforce.

The synchronous meetings take place online over approximately 30 online class weekends (Fridays and Saturdays). Classes meet online on Friday from 3:00PM to 8:30PM Eastern Time. On Saturday, classes meet online from 9:00AM to 2:30PM Eastern Time. Classes do not meet in-person during class weekends. All synchronous meetings are held virtually.

While the program is 100% online, we encourage you to engage with your cohort and the wider Virginia Tech community at in-person events. You'll have the opportunity to attend graduation in May and numerous annual networking events are held each year by the Pamplin College of Business and Virginia Tech. We also suggest becoming a member of your local alumni chapter.
