Schedule and Location
The Evening MBA courses are located at the Innovation Campus Academic Building One, at 3625 Potomac Ave, Alexandria, VA. The Innovation Campus is in the North Potomac Yard neighborhood of Alexandria, VA, conveniently located at the Potomac Yard-VT Metro station, and accessible by I-495, I-395, and Route 1.
Street parking is available via the ParkMobile app. We recommend avoiding the Target or shopping center parking lots, as they have strict towing policies.
The Innovation Campus Academic Building One is less than a block from the Potomac Yard-VT Metro station, accessible on the Blue and Yellow lines.
The flexibility of the Evening MBA program allows students to complete their degree at their own pace. Most students take two courses per semester, but may elect to take anywhere between one and four in order to meet the demands of their personal and professional lives. Full-time students typically complete the degree in 3 years while part-time students typically complete it in 3.5 years.
Each course meets once per week from 6:00 – 8:50 pm. The number of courses a student takes each semester directly correlates to the number of nights they will be on-site at the Innovation Campus. Classes are held Monday through Thursday, but occasionally a Friday evening or Saturday morning course will be offered. A small selection of elective courses is offered fully online.
Summer courses – often electives – are also available for those who wish to progress through the program at a steady pace and maintain their momentum throughout the year. University breaks are observed during the fall and spring semesters.
