Dual Degree with Master’s in Information Technology

MIT or MBA? How about both! Virginia Tech is pleased to offer this unique dual degree in business administration and information technology. Here's how this sequential degree offering works:

Start the MBA degree, and plan your 16 courses (48-credit hours) to include up to 5 elective courses from your choice of the following list in your plan of study:

The 5 classes chosen from the list above can be applied towards the MIT degree. Upon successful completion of the MBA program (3.0 GPA or better), you will reapply for the MIT program as a formality (admission is guaranteed), and then complete an additional 6 courses to finish the MIT degree.

*The MIT program is offered completely online. There are no classes that meet in person for this degree.
